7 month appointment

Here are the concerns and items that were discussed at our recent clinic visit at University of Chicago.
1. Annual anemia checks were recommended as anemia is known in MTM patients.
2. Regular ultrasounds of the liver are recommended as liver problems are known in MTM patients.
3. Sleep study annually to check oxygen and CO2 levels.
4. MTM patients are more susceptible to uncontrolled bleeding.
5. Pulmanologist.  Super important part of the team of physicians.

Big Week Ahead

Things are moving forward.  Physical therapy and occupational therapy will be stopping by this week.  We are also going to the University of Chicago to meet their pediatric neuro-muscular staff and genetic staff.  (Special thanks to Dr. Lukas for all of his help).

We are still searching for a new pulmonologist.  Hopefully we will find someone who has some experience in this area.  We have heard rumors that a pulmonologist out of Madison WI is great and has experience.

Grandmas to the rescue!!!

After a couple of tough weeks fighting colds, the grandmas have come through once again and provided a huge amount of help!
